These standards set the parameters for background checking, by defining a range of information access in relation to a range of potential fact situations.

Background screening is a blanket term that properly refers to a range of circumstances and procedures. We take significant measures to protect private data that include shredding all paper documents (including application forms) daily, and storing all computerized information on digitally locked electronic backups.
